Goals
First year goals of OFAC include:
- Develop a CDFA review and approval process for NOP fertilizers;
- Seek funding for additional research on organic fertilizers;
- Work with certifiers to promote the value of the CDFA fertilizer inspection program;
- Have representation of the organic fertilizer industry on the CDFA Fertilizer Inspection Advisory Board; and
- Promote the use of organic fertilizer through the media.
